"Wisdom is Calling Out to Us"

Proverbs 8: 1-36

 ¹Doth not wisdom cry? And understanding give forth her voice?

 ²On the top of high places by the way, at the cross-paths she (wisdom) taketh her stand.

 ³Beside the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors, she (wisdom) crieth aloud.

 ⁴Unto you, men (humans), I (wisdom) call, and my voice is to the sons (&daughters) of man (humans):

 ⁵O ye simple, understand prudence; and ye foolish, understand sense.

 ⁶Hear, for I (wisdom)  will speak excellent things, and the opening of my lips shall be right things.

 ⁷For my (wisdom's) palate shall meditate truth, and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.

 ⁸All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing tortuous or perverse in them.

 ⁹ They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.

 ¹⁰ Receive my instruction, and not silver (only); and knowledge rather than choice gold (only):

 ¹¹ for wisdom is better than rubies (only), and all the things that may be desired are not equal to it.

 ¹² I, wisdom, dwell [with] prudence, and find the knowledge [which cometh] of reflection.

 ¹³ The fear of Jehovah (Creator God) is to hate evil; pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward (disobedient, unmanageable; with an evil disposition) mouth do I (wisdom) hate.

¹⁴ Counsel is mine (wisdom's), and sound wisdom: I (wisdom) am intelligence; I have strength.

 ¹⁵ By me (wisdom)  kings reign (wisely), and rulers make just decrees;

 ¹⁶ by me (wisdom) princes rule, and nobles; all the judges of the earth.

 ¹⁷I (wisdom) love  those that love me; and they that seek me (wisdom) early shall find me.

¹⁸ Riches and honour are with me (wisdom); durable wealth and righteousness.

 ¹⁹ My (wisdom) fruit is better than fine gold, yea, than pure gold; and my revenue than choice silver.

 ²⁰I (wisdom) walk in the path of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:

²¹ that I may cause those that love me (wisdom) to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasuries.

²² Jehovah (Creator God)  possessed me in the beginning of His way, before His works of old.

²³ I (wisdom) was set up (established)  from eternity, from the beginning, before the earth was.

 ²⁴ When there were no depths (oceans), I was brought forth, when there were no fountains (springs) abounding with water.

 ²⁵ Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I (wisdom) brought forth;

²⁶ while as yet He had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the beginning of the dust of the world.

²⁷ When He prepared the heavens I (wisdom) was there; when He ordained the circle upon the face of the deep;

 ²⁸ when He established the skies above, when the fountains of the deep became strong;

 ²⁹ when He imposed on the sea His decree that the waters should not pass His commandment (boundaries), when He appointed the foundations of the earth:

³⁰then I (wisdom) was by Him [His] nursling (crafter), and I was daily (filled with) His delight, rejoicing always before Him;

 ³¹ rejoicing in the habitable part of His earth, and my delights [were] with the sons (& daughters) of men (humans).

³²And now, sons (& daughters), hearken (listen) unto me (wisdom), and blessed are they that keep my ways:

 ³³ hear instruction and be wise, and refuse it not.

³⁴ Blessed is the man (human) that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

³⁵ For whoso(ever) findeth me (wisdom) findeth life, and obtaineth favour of Jehovah (Creator God);

³⁶ but he that sinneth against me (wisdom) doeth violence to his (her) own soul: all they that hate me (wisdom) love death. (Proverbs 8:31-36, Darby Translation)

Spiritual Affluence in Blimbing Sari, Indonesia

Hello, Everyone! As you may know a huge part of being affluent in a positive, win-win-win way is being Spiritually affluent. Today's post features a village in Bali, Indonesia known as Blimbing Sari that is experiencing Spiritual affluence. This unique village has been drawing visitors so much that tourists' visits to the region has nearly tripled.

An excerpt from the CBN News article I read about Blimbing Sari states, "The villagers there boast that the area has been 100% Christian since 1939, when their persecuted ancestors weere given the land as a safe haven by the Dutch government." Restavek: End Child Slavery

Good day, Everyone! I believe that as we achieve affluence for ourselves we should help others along the way. This post features a creatively presented request to help others using animation. The animation is 'Restavek: End Child Slavery in Haiti' by CoadyTNP.

Ending the enslavement of children is one step we can take in establishing as much global affluence as possible. No one else has to be 'down and out' or impoverished for me/anyone to 'up and in' or affluence.
